Visitors to Queenstown are spoilt for choice of places to enjoy a drink or two. We have many Bars and Pubs on offer just a short walk down the hill in Queenstown Central which will suit any occasion or preference.
Bar & Pubs
Here is a list of our favourate places to have a drink with friends
- Atlas Beer Cafe – local hang-out with great Beer and food. This is where to local downhill bike crew gather for a post ride drink.
- The Sundeck Rooftop Bar – great views.
- 1976 – great happy hour prices for a drink on the way into town for dinner.
- Fergs Bar – part of the Ferg burger conglomerate, and the food has been highly recommended by guests as well.
- Perky’s floating Bar – check out our recommendation to combine this place with a Ferg Burger.

Brewery & Beer
For those who prefer beer or the beer connoisseurs out there we have on offer some great local breweries:

- Altitude
- Searchlight Brewery – hidden at the back of a warehouse in an industrial lane.
Local Tip: we also recommend heading to the local hangout Atlas Beer Cafe on Steamer Wharf where you can try a multitude of beers on tap. It’s great for a beer and steak/ bar snacks and a hangout for locals post mountain biking.
Spirits
Cadrona Distillery – a local distillery making premium handcrafted Single Malt Whisky, Gin, Vodka and Liqueurs. A must visit for the spirit drinkers.
