With four ski fields, vibrant après ski, world class services, winter in Queenstown is a magical place.  If you’re hard core you might consider Heliskiing or alternatively go cross country skiing at Snow Farm.

Ski Fields (Listed in order of distance from Queenstown):

  • Coronet Peak – The closest of the ski fields within an easy 25 minute drive to the drop off area of the ski resort. – read more tips on Coronet Peak here

  • Remarkables – The famous Remarkables mountain range is home to The Remarkables ski field, an easy 40 minute drive from downtown Queenstown. A true alpine mountain experience, The Remarkables offers terrain and facilities to suit everyone from first timers to seasoned, expert skiers and snowboarders. – click here to visit the Remarkables website

  • Cadrona Alpine Resort –  It’s approximately a 60 minute (58km) drive from Queenstown.   – click here to visit Cadrona website.

  • Snow Farm – Set high on the Pisa Range within easy reach of Queenstown. It has 55km of scenic trails perfect for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and fatbiking. – read more here on our Snow Farm page

  • Treble Cone – The largest ski area in NZ’s South Island, is famous for its long un-crowded groomed runs, legendary off-piste terrain and unrivalled views over Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps. – click here to visit the Treble Cone website.
